Water-Sensitive Informal Settlement Upgrading: Description Of Technologies

This Report provides an overview of the technical and design considerations of water-sensitive technologies for urban informal settlements with a core design goal to reduce exposure of residents to faecal contamination. The Report details the components and design standards of the suite of potential nature-based technologies across seven strategies: blackwater, greywater, water supply, drainage, access and open space, operation and maintenance, and climate change.
