Feasibility Study of Harvest Electric Power from highway Pavement Using Laboratory Investigation

Studies concerning the application of PZT in highways to harvest energy from vehicles have not been well studied yet. Various aspects such as the effect of traffic speed, traffic volume and vehicle type are still unknown. Therefore, there is a need evaluate the feasibility of using these materials to as energy harvester for transportation infrastructures.
