Duties of the COSS and person in charge when using a hand trolley 14 IA02

A new type of level crossing known as Manually Controlled Barrier – Obstacle Detector (OD) level crossings (LC) has undergone substantial safety assessments by Network Rail, which were initially on a trial basis. Following these successful trials, several other installations have been implemented and more are now planned.
