This paper proposes the method for automatically setting installation procedures based on rules using BIM information and an automatic creation system for scaffolding. The first is a function that automatically sets the installation order using the location information of the equipment and piping in the BIM model and the rules of the expert. The other is the interactive creation of 3D models of scaffolding using BIM spatial information. This system automatically creates 3D models of scaffolding by calculating the required number of standard scaffolding by instructing the spatial position in the BIM model. With these functions, computer system automatically sets up a installation schedule and significantly reduces time for 4D simulation setup
