Austroads Development in Skid Resistance

this paper discusses recent austroads work in developing guidance for developing procedures and practices for the management of skid resitance that are achiveable adn sustainable in a n australian environment. it alsoincludes a review of factors affecting the measurement of skid resistance, a discussion on future work regarding calibration, corellation, harmonisation or standarisation and question of the PSV test and todays traffic.
